Positive Reinforcement Dog Training in Nottingham with Perfect Pups and Dogz
Here at Perfect Pups and Dogz we offer 100% reward based training. We have 3 types of group classes available: Puppy to Gold Obedience classes, 3 levels of assistance dog classes and Junior Handling classes for 8 to 16 year old's accompanied by an adult costing £5.50 per session. 1-2-1 Training is also available.
Classes provided by Heather, ADTB graduate and Approved Instructor
Trainer Heather has years of positive reinforcement dog training as well as being an ADTB graduate and approved instructor.

As new pet parents we were overwhelmed when our little poodle cross puppy, Bruno, turned into a little hooligan and always on the go young dog. Heather's help has been invaluable, not only training our dog but also our whole family including our young children on how to interact with and train our dog while having lots of fun. Heather is passionate about dogs and it shows on her methods of training. She alway uses positive reinforcement rewarding dogs with food and toys to achieve the desired behaviour. Never using harsh treatment or intimidation toward dogs. Heather helped us with difficult issues such as pulling on the lead, playing too rough with other dogs and more importantly on his recall. Our dog has improved a lot and is a delight to live with now. Heather is patient, friendly and eager to help and this made us feel at ease during her lessons.

With Heathers training we have now got our 4 year old lab x German shepherd to be better behaved and we're able to live with him and he's now okay with friends of mine when they come to the house (He used to be aggressive towards them).
I would definitely recommend Heather for puppy and dog training.
Heather is a lovely person and can do one to one private sessions as well as her group classes. My Rosie loves her treats too! Heather has really helped Rosie settle in to her new home and environment. I have recommended Heather to several of my friends that are dog owners.

my hyperactive, over enthusiastic, finds-it-impossible-to-focus cocker spaniel has come on heaps & bounds since starting training classes. Classes are 100% positive reinforcement based, relaxed & friendly, with a small number of other people rather than a crowded hall full of people/dogs. Most importantly both me & Jacko look forward to class each evening & thoroughly enjoy it whilst there, & he is spark out as soon as we get home! Thanks!

My dog Summer and I are half way through the bronze course. I very much wanted to find a positive, reward-based course and this one did not disappoint. Summer didn't have any specific behavioural issues, but is a nervous girl and I wanted to take her to classes to improve her confidence and strengthen her bond with me. Already she has really come out of her shell and is more confident both at class and at home and on walks. The improvement in some of the other dogs in the class has been astounding.
