Design Innovation designs, installs and commissions smart home / home automation installations and commercial building control systems in the UK. Our head office is in the East Midlands, (Nottingham to be precise) where we have a full workshop and soon to be opened demonstation facilities, we also have an office in central London. We are an independent company with 20 years experience of Audio Visual and Lighting Control we specialise in finding the right solution to fit your needs and budget. We offer home automation systems, home cinema, whole house audio, whole house video, lighting control and design, security and CCTV systems.
About Us
Established in 2004 by the current owner Nick Gale, Design Innovation was set up to offer a complete one stop shop for technology in the home and commercial buildings. Being an electrical engineer with nearly 20 years experience in the professional sound, lighting and AV industry, he recognised the need for a company that could offer a complete solution encompassing all aspects of smart home technology and commercial building controls and energy management.
Commercial Clients
For our commercial customers we offer a design, specification and commissioning service that is manufacturer independent. This enables us to find the right solution and not try to fit your needs into a limited product range. One such example of this is KNX, an open standard for building controls that enables us to select lighting, heating, and ventilation controls, sensors and management systems from over a 180 manufacturers and guarantee that they'll work together.
We also offer IT network and telecoms services including the installation of infrastructure and phone systems.
